⁴⁶ “Beware of the scribes who desire to walk in long robes and who love greetings in the marketplaces and the prominent seats in the synagogues and the seats of honor at banquets, ⁴⁷ who devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive greater condemnation.”
